Glamour Award-Who is wearing what

After looking at Paloma Faith at the Glamour Awards, I decided to have a little mooch around see who was on the red carpet and who pulled what off.

Actress Cara Theobald, not a face I reconize, though I liked the simple white dress, very fresh and innocent. Then I got to the shoes.... Black?! Realy?! You couldn't find any other shoes to go with your dress? Pastels are popular this season-even a nude would of gone better.

Jessiac Alba wore Alexander Mcqueen dress and clutch. The dress is a beautiful chifon gothic inspired dress. In my opinion I'm not sure if it suits her, but it is indeed a glamourous dress.

Amada Holden looks gorgeous in this white Azagury dress.
It has a 1960's feel with the under-the-knee hem and floral applique. I also love the shoes Nicholas Kirkwood-match very well to the dress. Fresh and fun.

Lily Cole looks stunning in this Alexander Mcqueen dress. Portraying the beauty of Snow white; with her dark hair tussled to the side and red berry lips. It's refreshing to see a beautiful young lady in a well fitted dress not bulging any cleavage and legs.

I love Downtown Abbey and am a fan of Jessica Brown Findley, but I can't help thinking as beautiful as the nude colours of this dress are-why has it got pockets? and I find it a little frumpy. The bottom of the skirt with the fitted waist and wavey hem is beautiful-The top half with the simplistic neckline and leg of mutton sleeves is lovly but everything all together with the floral print I just think is too overpowering and therefore makes it look older on her.

If you can fit into it why not Donatella Versace?

This is a realy stricking Julien McDonald dress. I love the 20s flapper feel with the skirt tassels and the alouring element of the visable skin through the dress. Paired up with black Kat Maconie's Velma booties. Very Stylish.

Cat Deeley wearing an eye catching half black and have white simple little dress- Very Stricking!

Lea Michele from Glee lookes every bit the Hollywood star-the midnight blue of this dress is beautiful and I love the cut of the dress, off the shoulder figger hugging with a fish tail. Very elegant and teamed up perfectly with statement earings and slick back hair.

Realy? Don't you feel like a 5 year old wanting to be a ballerina?

Lily Allen..... I take it you let it to the last minute than thought "S***! Better russle something togther for the Glamour Awards!" Oh dear.

This Erdem dress looks beautiful on Michelle Dockery. She looks every bit english elegance.

Of course you were going to wear Victoria Beckham-but could you have found a dress more "glamourousy" Eva? I love the orange colour and It suits her complextion wonderfully but for an award ceremony It's a bit disapointing to see something you could get away with in the office.

Faith in Fashion

As I'm sure most of you are aware I do have a soft spot for Paloma Faith! Although this was the first time I heard her speak! Bless her, her style is the same as her speach-kooky and quirky! I love it! Her new album is apparantly based on films and the thought behind it was to make her life into a musical themed story. I find her so beautiful but not in the classical way,I find her realy striking and unusual.

She was also at the Glamour Awards this week, being that she had previously said that she was fed up with being on the worst dressed list and was hoping this time would be different.

I think she made her point-she lookes amazing!
The dress is a Temperly London number embellished with beading and tassels. The clutch is a Olga Berg clutch which matches the dress lovly. The subtle silver colour of the dress and clutch, compliments her red hair and red nails. It gives that old Hollywood glamour feel spicey up a bit.
I think this award ceremony was defenately a winner for Paloma
